Integration with Topaz Managed Services (TMS)

You use the Topaz Managed Services Server Registration form to configure SiteScope to be an agent reporting to an Topaz Managed Services (TMS) service. With this feature you can easily integrate SiteScope's system level availability monitoring with the performance monitoring and analysis capabilities of Topaz Managed Services. The Topaz Managed Services registration process involves two steps:

Specifying Connection Parameters to Topaz Managed Services Servers

Complete the form as indicated below, and then click the Register button to complete the action.

Required Settings

SiteScope agent machine location: Enter the location of the SiteScope server or agent that you are connecting to Topaz Managed Services. You can specify any value that helps you identify the location of this specific SiteScope server.
Topaz Managed Services user name: Enter the user name of a Topaz Managed Services administrator-level user.
Topaz Managed Services user password: Enter the password for the user specified above.

Optional Settings

Proxy Server

Set these values only if access to Topaz Managed Services requires the use of a proxy server.

Proxy Address: If applicable, enter the proxy server address.
Proxy Username: Enter the username for the proxy server.
Proxy Password: Enter the password for the specified user.
Disable Topaz Managed Services console connection: Check this box to disable the SiteScope-Topaz Managed Services connection. You can restore communication with Topaz Managed Services by clearing the check box and clicking the reRegister button.

Selecting the Topaz Managed Services Profile

Select the AIM profile in which Topaz Managed Services will store the data collected by SiteScope (the AIM profile must have been previously defined in the Topaz Managed Services service account). Then click the Submit button.

Note the following

Only AIM profiles not in use by any other SiteScope or Topaz Managed Services agent appear in the list.
When viewing reports in Topaz Managed Services, you select this profile to see the SiteScope data.
It is recommended that you use the word "SiteScope" in the profile name to more easily identify SiteScope profiles in the Topaz Managed Services Web site.
