SiteScope User's Guide

Web Transaction Recorder Settings

You use the Web Transaction Recorder Settings page to set preferences used by the ALT Script and QTP Script monitor types. This includes specifying the user credentials needed for SiteScope to run these monitor types and the path to the tests directory on the QuickTest Pro or Astra LoadTest machine.

Completing the Web Transaction Recorder Settings Form

The Web Transaction Recorder Settings form has two sections. The first is for entering the user credentials for accessing both the QuickTest Pro and Astra LoadTest. The second section is for specifying a directory path for the QuickTest and Astra LoadTest scripts. Complete the Web Transaction Recorder Settings Form as indicated below and then click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

Enter the user credentials needed to access the QuickTest Pro and/ or Astra LoadTest application that contains the test scripts you want SiteScope to use. The QuickTest Pro an and/ or Astra LoadTest application must be installed on the same machine as this SiteScope installation. It is assumed that the same user credentials can be used for either application.
